Susan’s 25+ years of experience as a classically-trained management consultant – paired with her innate ability to connect with others – drives her work to effectively implement organizational change. Her career includes decades of strategic HR work, leadership development, and enhancing employee performance at Deloitte Consulting, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and Lexmark International.
When she isn’t inspiring and engaging clients, Susan might be cooking for her kids and husband in Lexington or indulging her passion for interior design (the cow painting in the People Pinnacle office is a must-see!). She moved frequently as a child before settling in Kentucky and still loves to travel, enjoying the experience of new cultures and food.

Bethany Denning helps solve problems.
Equipped with over 15 years of experience in HR and organizational development, she specializes in solving client problems through an HR-focused lens. The advantage of Bethany’s experience lies in its breadth: she has expertise with both publicly-traded and privately-held companies; she has driven strategy on the global level as well as guided localized HR efforts; she consults on key HR functions like recruitment and performance management; she is skilled at redesigning organizational structure and people processes to support strategic goals. A management consulting expert, her work supports client success by ensuring leaders, managers, and employees are aligned in their pursuit of company goals.
A Lexington native, Bethany finds herself back in the Bluegrass after some time in North Carolina, Florida, and Chicago. She loves good food (shout out to Martine’s coconut macarons!), travel (hello sunny beaches!), and watching her three kids play sports. She dreams of being a helicopter pilot in her next life.
